POONCH, JANUARY
20: SDM Mendhar Rahul Yadhav convened a meeting to finalize the arrangements
for Republic day celebrations.
It was decided in
the meeting that the main function would be held at Government boys higher
secondary school Mendher, where the National Flag would be unfurled by the
Chief Guest followed by march past by contingents comprising of JK
police and students .
Threadbare
discussions were held on various arrangements regarding smooth celebrations of
national function including seating, barricading, drinking water and power
supply, sanitation, first- aid, security, transport, traffic regulation, prize
distribution at the venue.
Among others
Tehsildars, Block Medical Officer Mendher, Naib Tehsildar, AEE PWD, Principal
of GDC Mendhar, Principal HSS boys and other officers of sub-division Mendher
were present in the meeting.
