New Delhi, Feb 19: The BJP on Monday announced four candidates for the upcoming Parliamentary and Assembly bye-elections to take place in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
For the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, Upendra Shukla has been made the candidate.
The seat fell vacant after Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister of the state last year after the party’s thumping victory.
For the Phulpur seat, the party has fielded Kaushalendra Singh Patel, a party statement said here.
For the bi-election to Araria Parliamentary constituency in Bihar the party has fielded Pradeep Singh.
Meanwhile, Rinki Pandey will be the BJP candidate for the Bhabua Assembly constituency in Bihar. UNI
