Jammu, Feb 5: A sub-inspector of Border Security Force sustained injuries in Pakistani firing and shelling on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"A BSF SI was injured in shelling and firing by Pakistani troops along the LoC on Sunday evening in Rajouri district", an official said here on Monday.
He said that injured officer is under treatment and is stable.
In heavy Pakistani shelling along the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri districts, a Captain ranked officer of Indian Army among four attained martyrdom while three soldiers got injured.
"There is no firing at present while 84 schools close to the LoC have been closed as preventive measure in view of shelling," Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri said. UNI
