BANDIPORA, MARCH 27:
A two-day training programme-cum-medical camp for
professional drivers, conductors and the general public was organized by
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, Mohammad Mukhtar at
Nusoo General Bus Stand here today.
The programme was also attended by officials of
Health Department, SDRF and MVD.
The participants were imparted training
with regard to first aid and rescue operation . Medical checkup of drivers and
conductors was also conducted on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the ARTO impressed upon
the drivers to adhere to provisions of Motor Vehicles Act in letter and spirit.
Inspector MVD Mohammad Yunus spoke about the Motor
Vehicle Act and road safety measures on the occasion.
