BUDGAM, MARCH 3:
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat today inaugurated a
first of its kind hospitality and aviation training centre Zoom Air at Humhama
in Budgam.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that
the training centre was much needed for the youth of the state. He said the
trainees can receive training about different courses to enter the airlines
sector.
The
Minister said that airlines sector has huge potential to provide jobs to the
talented youth and after receiving the requisite training the chances of
getting jobs increase manifolds.
“Our
youth are rich in talent but with the absence of requisite training facilities,
the state youth were lacking much-needed credentials to enter the sector,”
Minister said.
Lauding the Zoom Air for establishing the training
centre in the Valley, the Minister said that such facility would open new job
avenues for the State youth.
The Minister was informed that with intake capacity
of 60, the training centre would start one-year certificate course of cabin
crew, nine months course for ground staff and four months course of ground
handling services in the initial stage.
After the culmination of training at the local
training centre, the candidates would be sent for three months additional
course to Zoom Air training centre in Delhi.

Ahmad Wani said at the end of the training, quality candidates would be
absorbed by the zoom Airlines, while as job interviews would be assisted in
other airlines for others.
Among others, VC SICOP Ali Mohammad, senior
officials of Zoom Airlines, Additional SP Budgam were also present on the
occasion.
