9: Admitting that the Indian National Congress was 'outmarketed ' by the
Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2014 Lok Sabha election, chairperson of the
Congress Parliamentary Party Sonia Gandhi on Friday said the party needs to
develop new ways to connect with people.
'We were out-marketed.by the BJP (in the Lok Sabha polls), '
the former Congress party president said at the 'India Today' conclave in the
financial capital of the nation.
Asked if she had any suggestions for the INC and its present chief Rahul Gandhi, she said,' Our party needs to develop new ways to connect with people. We have to look how we project our programs and policies.' UNI
