Pak shells forward areas on LoC in Poonch

Jammu, Mar 10: Pakistani Army on Saturday yet again violated the ceasefire agreement by shelling forward areas along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

"Pakistani Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from 0745h hrs on Saturday morning in KG sector along the Line of Control (LC)," Defence spokesperson here said.
He said that Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively while the exchange of firing stopped at 0845 hours.
"Pakistan has been firing unprovoked from past few days on LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts," said an official adding that Indian Army is giving befitting reply to the firing. UNI
