Lucknow, Mar 10: The Bharatiya Janata Party is all set to celebrate the completion of first year rule in Uttar Pardesh on March 19.
To highlight its achievements, the Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath led- BJP government will organise programmes all across the state while the main function to be held in state capital Lucknow, sources in party said on Saturday.
To chalk-out the programmes, recently a co-ordination committee meeting of state ministers and senior party functionaries in UP BJP was held at Chief Minister’s residence here. Another meetings of office bearers has been called by the CM on March 13 to discuss rest of the arrangements.
State BJP general secretary Vijay Bahadur Pathak said that the one-year rule of the Yogi Adityanath in the state was a historic one with several reforms undertaken. ''The state is now on a development track,'' he asserted.
In Yogi Adityanath rule, the UP government fetched Rs 4.28 lakh crores of investment in recently concluded Investors Meet, which was historic, Mr Pathak said.
Achievement in the field of law and order along with development by garnering an investment to the tune of over Rs 4.28 lakh crores, similar to the state budget, through the UP Investors meet, is a historic one. We will take down the celebrations to the village level and aware them about the achievements which were on the ground before them," he said.
Mr Pathak said as promised the BJP government waived off loans of 86 lakh farmers. To check the corruption, e-governance was introduced in the government machinery, he said.
Several initiatives for the development of infrastructure sector including construction of Poorwanchal and Bundelkhand expressways was taken up by the state government in the last year, Mr Pathak said.
With the centre's support, mega defence corridor in Bundelkhand was being developed, he said.
The state government too has made effort to implement the central sponsored schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas and others in a big way, he asserted.
Mr Pathak claimed that the power availability in the state has been made more continuous with rural villages getting at least 18 hours of electricity daily.
He said that the law and order situation has improved in a big way with dreaded criminals leaving the state in fear of being killed in encounter," he said.
The BJP government in UP will complete one year in office on March 19. The saffron party took over the reins from Samajwadi Party in 2017. UNI
