New Delhi, Mar 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the women folk in the country
on the occasion of International Women's Day.
In a tweet, Mr Modi emphasised on the need for leading the
nation "from women development to women-led development".
In her missive on the micro blogging site, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj wrote: "My heartiest greetings and good wishes on the International Women's day".
In her tweet, Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani said this is a day "to recount every journey undertaken to fulfill dreams, a day to celebrate achievements big and small; to say thank you to all the trailblazers".
"Happy #Womens Day to women who inspire and aspire for a better tomorrow," she tweeted. UNI
