The 28-year-old Anudeep is an engineering graduate from BITS, Pilani and qualified the examination with anthropology as his option subject. He also opted for Telugu language in the Civil Services examination.
Anudeep , a native of Metpally in Jagityal district, came from a well educated family. His father Manohar is working as Assistant Divisional Engineer in the Northern Power Distribution Company Limited in Telangana.
Elated over securing top rank, Anudeep said “ It’s exciting. It is my last attempt for the Civil Services and I had studied hard to realize my goal of making it to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS)”.
The other candidates who made it to the top slots from the state were Srisailam Sai ( 43rd rank), Narapureddy Mourya (100th rank), G Madhuri ( 144th rank), Vivek Johnson (195th rank), Sari Praneet (196th rank) and Yadavali Akshaya Kumar (624).
Sai Praneet, who cleared the exam in his first attempt, is the son of former IPS officer Lakshminarayana, who served as the Joint Director of CBI in Hyderabad. UNI
