Mathura, Apr 21: Bollywood star and BJP MP
from Mathura Hema Malani on Saturday expressed her concern over the sudden
spurt of crime against little girls saying that it was damaging the image of
the country.
Flagging off the 'School Chalo Abhiyan' from Bhagat Singh park this morning,
the MP said the matter was very grave and something should be done to prevent
such menace.
"Our government is committed to preventing such crimes and will take what ever necessary to bring a stringent law against the offenders. We have to protect the children and the parents too take care of their children," she said.
The parents should take care of their children while attending any functions, she said.
Ms Hema Malani is in her parliamentary constituency for the past two days. Yesterday, she organised 'Ghriha Pravesh ' of her new residence in Vrindavan during which her husband and Bollywood star Dharmendra was also present. UNI
