MLA inaugurates various projects in Wachi constituency

Holds Public Durbar at Zainapora

SHOPIAN, MAY 23: Member Legislative Assembly Wachi, Aijaz Ahmad Mir, today inaugurated various developmental projects of Wachi constituency and also held a public durbar at Zainapora.

The legislator inaugurated a Steel Bridge at Zainapora, 11KV Hotline at CHC Zainapora, Sub Division PHE Zainapora and Common Facility Centre Zainapora.

Sub Divisional Magistrate, Syed Ahmed, Executive Engineers from R&B, PDD, PHE, Tehsildar Zainapora, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, Block Medical Officer, Block Development Officer Zainapora, and other concerned officers and officials of the district and large number of the people were also present on the occasion.

Later, MLA held a Public Darbar at Common Facility Centre Zainapora Shopian. During the durbar various deputations put forth various demands regarding power supply, drinking water, macadamization and repairmen of roads, education, and irrigation sector etc before the MLA for their redressal.

On the occasion Mir gave patient hearing to the delegations and assured redressal of their genuine issues. He also sought cooperation of people in better public delivery system.

The legislator directed officers to gear up and ensure that the difficulties of the people are addressed and resolved at the earliest. He also directed the concerned authorities to ensure availability of all essential commodities and services in the constituency during the holy month of Ramadan.
