Commissioner Secretary PWD reviews dev works in Shopian

PULWAMA, SHOPIAN JULY 12: Commissioner Secretary PWD, Khursheed Ahmad Shah today chaired a review meeting at Circuit House Shopian to take stock of various ongoing developmental works under going in the district.

District Development Commissioner Shopian Showkat Aijaz and other district officers were present in the meeting.

DDC Shopian Showkat Aijaz briefed the Commissioner Secretary PWD about various ongoing developmental works/projects being executed in the district. The Commissioner Secretary gave special emphasis on the use of quality material. He also directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work and ensure that the project gets completed within stipulated period of time.

Later, Commissioner Secretary inspected the condition of Mughal Road.

During the inspection tour, he was accompanied by Secretary PHE, Secretary PDD, DDC Shopian Showkat Aijaz, DDC Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Dar, Chief Engineer Mughal Road Division and a team of officers from the district administration. He took a comprehensive on spot review of blacktopping of the road surface, protection works, repairing of potholes at various locations.
