RAJOURI JULY 12: District
Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz today held a meeting with the members
of the civil society to discuss various issues and concerns related to the
overall development of the district.
The participants
apprised the DDC about different issues including matter of street vendors regarding
allotment of space and need to ensure smooth power supply as well as supply of
water by Public Health Engineering.
They also
underlined the need for maintenance and further improvement of
work culture in government offices across the district.
The DDC
while assuring the participants of the early redressal of all the genuine
demands said that about twelve hundred rainwater harvesting tanks will be
constructed in the district to meet the challenge of water crisis.
Meanwhile he
sought the cooperation of civil society and people infurther developing the
district on modern lines besides maintaining peace.
SSP Yougal Manhas and ACR Abdul Qyoom Mir were also present in the
meeting.
