RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER
08: A free AYUSH medical check-up, aid and awareness camp under
school Health programme was today held here at village Gandhri.
The camp was
organized by Department of Indian System of Medicine “Ayush’ Ramban. The
facilities of gynaecology, skin, geriatric and general medicine was made
available in the camp.
Around 450 people
were treated at the camp and free medicines were also distributed among the
patients.
Earlier, the
camp was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Dr GurvinderJeet
Singh in presence of District Nodal Officer ISM, Dr. Shashi
Kant Sharma, BDO, Firoz Ahmed, Naib Tehsildar, Abdul Majeed, Dr. Ashwani,
Dr. Kuljeet, Dr. Bashir, Dr. Rajesh, Para-medical staff and locals.
Interacting with
people the ADC assured them that their demand of posting of doctor
in Ayush dispensary would be taken up with concerned.
On the occasion a
deputation of Niabat Gandheri met the ADC and apprised him of their
grievances and sought their early redressal.
The People sought
up-grading of Kanga Bathni road, maintenance of power supply distribution
system in all Panchyats of Gandheri, shortage of staff in health and
educational intuitions, organising of awareness camps of Agriculture,
Horticulture and other allied departments, exposure tours for farmers
of area, road projects, development of Bathbi to Raja ShankPal area
as tourist circuit, posting of ambulance driver, water supply connection for
schools.
He assured
the delegations that issues will be forwarded to the concerned departments for
their timely redress.
Meanwhile, the ADC reviewed the functioning of RDD, FCS&CA, PHE,
Animal and Sheep husbandry departments.
