SAMBA, JUNE 02: Samba ICDS in collaboration with UIDAI today conducted Aadhaar enrolment camp for children below 5 yrs here at Conference hall of Deputy Commissioner Office.
First   enrolment camp for Aadhaar generation was inaugurated by District Programme Officer, ICDS,  Jyoti  Salathia.
Vishav Khajuria, UIDAI, CDPOs of Vijaypur,   Samba, Purmandal,   Ghagwal, Supervisors and Anganwadi workers   trained by UIDAI to generate Aadhar, participated in the camp. A large number of parents along with their children below 5 yr attended the camp.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Aadhar cards of children below 5yrs shall be generated at Anganwadi centres.
Proof of relationship (Birth certificate of child and Aadhaar card of either of parents) is the requisite document necessary for Aadhaar card generation.

 SAMBA, AUGUST 30:  The District Information Centre today organized a general awareness programme at Jatwal in collaboration with ICDS project Ghagwal.
Child Development Project Officer, Ghagwal, Ajay Sharma was the chief guest at the programme which was attended by supervisors, ICDS beneficiaries, Anganwari Workers (AWWs) and members from local community.

The participants were apprised about the importance of financial inclusion and digital economy in today’s world.  On the occasion, cultural programs were presented by ‘New Sargam Cultural Group’ on these themes which were appreciated by all. The participants urged the department to organize similar programmes at the grassroots level for the awareness of general masses.

SAMBA, JULY 21: Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal, Narayan Dutt Sharma taking cogninze of public complaints inspected various schools in Ghagwal sub division.
He inspected Govt High School Nichla and found 10 staff members absent whereas one Master was found absent in Govt High School Ratanpur Sarara. The erring employees have been suspended and attached with office of SDM Ghagwal till enquiry is completed in this regard.

SDM has directed the concerned officials to ensure punctuality in offices.
