SRINAGAR,
JULY 07: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir today said that in case of
restrictions, the admit cards of the candidates appearing for Probationary
Officers (PO) examination of State Bank of India scheduled on July 08,
2018 at various centres of Kashmir Division shall be considered as
curfew/movement pass on the day.
The Div Com has asked the district administrations in the division to
extend all possible help including transport to candidates appearing for the
said examination and set up a helpline in this regard in their respective
jurisdictions.

JUNE 14: District Development Commissioner ,S Rajinder Singh
Tara today reviewed the status of ongoing developmental works being
executed in pursuance of directions issued by Chief Minister during her Public
Outreach Programme held in the district.
The
meeting was attended by ADC, PO ICDS,ACR, CPO, ACD,Chief Education Officer,
Chief Medical Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer,
SDMs,Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE, PDD PWD and irrigation and other
district officers.
It
was informed during the meeting that all important issues of various
natures were brought to the notice of Chief Minister which include
developmental works, preparation of DPR for various projects, upgradation of
health and educational institutions, augmentation of water and electricity
supply system, upgradation of roads infrastructure, infrastructure in rural
areas and promotion of tourism in the district.
The
departments also made detailed presentation on status of ongoing works on CM
commitments and assured the DDC that the works will be completed within
stipulated time.
The
DDC directed the concerned officers to put in concerted efforts and gear up
their men and machinery for time bound completion of all ongoing projects. He
asked the officers to submit action taken reports to his office.
SAMBA, JUNE 14: District
administration Samba today organized a programme to pay tributes to Brigadier
Rajinder Singh on his 119th birth anniversary at his native village
Rajinder Pura (Bagoona).
Brigadier
Rajinder Singh sacrificed his life for the nation on October 27, 1947 while
fighting thousands of tribal raiders assisted by Pakistani army at Buniyar, Uri
Sector in Kashmir.
While
paying homage to Brig Rajinder Singh MVC, Legislator Chander Parkash
Ganga exhorted upon the youth to remember the martyr
and imbibe the qualities of bravery and valor.
Highlighting
the life of Brig Rajinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner, S Rajinder Singh
Tara said that it is a matter of great pride that such a great warrior was born
in our state. He also saluted him for his bravery and supreme sacrifice.

Samba, PO ICDS, ASP, ACD, SDM Vijaypur, Executive Engineers PHE, PWD &
PDD, BDO Vijaypur, Ravi Kant from Radio Kashmir jammu, Maj General (Retd)
Goverdhan Singh Jamwal, daughters of Brig Rajinder Singh and people in
large number were present on the occasion and paid rich
tributes to Brig Rajinder Singh.
Cultural
programme was presented by students of Brig Rajinder Singh Memorial Fauji
Public School and GHS Rajinder Pura on the occasion.
Dogri songs highlighting the bravery of Brig Rajinder Singh were
presented by Songs and Drama division of Ministry of Information,
Government of India on the occasion.
