RAJOURI,
OCTOBER 23: In order to make familiar the field
staff of Revenue Department of the district with digital dealings, a workshop
on “Digitalization of Land Records” was organised here today.
Regional
Director for Land Records and Survey, Shoukat Hussain Kazmi, who chaired the
occasion, laid emphasis on the purpose and importance of conducting such type
of workshops for revenue personnel.
Senior
Project Manager of RAM Tech Company, Dr. Rana Singh, gave a detailed Power
Point Presentation about implementation of Digital India Land Records
Modernization programme (DILRMP) in the State. He also briefed the participants about various
processes involved in the system like scanning, digitalization, quality
checking etc.
The
participants raised several queries regarding implementation of the project.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul
Qayoom Mir, advised the field staff to take full advantage of what they have
learned from this workshop.
