Security forces launch search operation in south Kashmir's Shopian

Srinagar, Aug 17 :  Security forces this evening launched a massive operation in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said. They told  that following specific information about presence of militants, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, 62 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 18 battalion of CRPF at D K Pora in Shopian. However, they said so far no contact was established with the militants. UNI
