Patna, Nov 29: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today mocked RJD Chief Lalu Prasad for his anxiety for personal
security and wealth by asking whether it was the biggest patriotism.
Mr Kumar in his personal twitter account for the
second consecutive day said, “Anxiety for life, worry for wealth and
mall, whether it is the biggest patriotism”.
Though Mr Kumar did not take name of RJD Chief in his tweet, his remark is seen as another veiled attack on Mr Prasad and his son and former deputy chief minister Tejaswi Yadav.
As it is, Lalu family is facing accusation of constructing the state`s biggest shopping mall in the state capital on a land plot, which it acquired through a sham company from Kochar brothers in lieu of Mr Prasad exercising his influence as railway minister in UPA-I to award railway hotels to hoteliers.
The construction was later stopped by union environment ministry on the ground that the shopping mall was being constructed even when mandatory prior clearance was not taken from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority for the purpose.
Mr Prasad was also crying foul after the Centre degraded his security cover from Z-plus to Z security.
Mr Kumar in his yesterday`s tweet said, “Whether it is character of a courageous person to suffer with the mentality of boasting about himself before people through hundreds of security personnel from National Security Guard and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) even when already he is under the state government`s security cover of Z-plus and State Security Guard (SSG).
