Srinagar, Mar 6: Security forces on Tuesday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in
Tral area of south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where a top Jaish-e-Mohammad
(JeM) militant was killed, official sources said.
They said on a tip off about the presence of militants,
troops of 42 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and
Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation at village Satura,
Tral, in Pulwama this morning. All exit points have been sealed and a massive
search operation has been launched.
Details are awaited, they added.
