Wangyal reviews progress of Nyoma dev works

LEH, MAY 09: Executive Councilor (EC) for Health and Power, Gyal P Wangyal, today convened a meeting of Councilors and sub-divisional officers of Nyoma Sub-Division to review the progress of ongoing developmental works there.

Councilor Nyoma Thupstan Wangchuk, SDM Nyoma Tsering Motup and officers from concerned departments were present in the meeting.

The EC directed the officers to ensure all infrastructure facilities to the people of the Nyoma Sub-Division. He said that LAHDC, Leh is committed to providing all basic amenities at par with urban pockets of the Leh city.

He asked the health authorities to provide quality healthcare facilities to the people of the sub-division. He said that the PHC Nyoma is equipped with latest healthcare facilities and diagnostic labs. He asked the concerned officers to expedite the formulation and submission of detail project report for further upgradation, renovation and beautification of the hospital.

The EC directed to provide free medicine to the patients coming from BPL families.

Wangyal stressed on the equal importance for upgradation of sports infrastructure in the schools of Nyoma subdivision. He directed for plantation in the open spaces for beautification and healthy environment.
