UDHAMPUR,MAY 09:-  District Magistrate (DM) Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar, in exercise of the power vested under section 144 Cr. PC, has imposed restrictions around the examination Centre of Secondary School Examination (10th class) Session Annual Regular 2016-17/ Bi-Annual private 2016 J&K Open School(SOS) of district Udhampur.
 The examination is commencing from May 10, 2018.  
According to an order issued by the District Magistrate, the movement, entry and gathering  of general public   within hundred meter radius and   use of loudspeaker within the radius of two hundred meters from the venue of examination centers has been banned  The order shall come into force w.e.f.  May 10, 2018 till conclusion of the said examination.
The admission card issued by the J&K Board of School Education Jammu to the eligible students shall be treated as entry pass for examination hall/ centre.


Srinagar, Aug 14 :  All educational institutions were closed today as a precautionary measure while examinations have also been postponed in the Kashmir valley. The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Kashmir University (KU) besides Board of School Education (BOSE) have already announced postponing of all scheduled examinations today. District Magistrates (DM) of several districts, particularly in south and central Kashmir have also ordered suspension of class work in Government Degree Colleges (DGCs) and Higher Secondary Schools (HSS). However, the Director School Education (DSE) issued an order for closure of all educational institutions today as a precautionary measure keeping in view of the situation. Closure of educational institutions was ordered following the killing of two youths in fresh security force firing in south Kashmir last evening, where people were protesting against the death of three Hizbul Mujahideen(HM) militants, including a self styled operational commander in 18-hour-long operation. Two army personnel were also killed and three others, including an officer were injured in the encounter, which ended yesterday morning. UNI
