JAMMU JUNE 14: Minister for Higher Education Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari attended an Iftaar organized by Jammu Muslim Front at TRC Jammu.
Divisional Commissioner Jammu Hemant Kumar Sharma, IGP Jammu S D Singh Jamwal, ADC Jammu, Arun Manhas, other senior officers of civil administration, police, besides members of civil society and media fraternity also attended the Iftaar party.
Ansari conveyed Ramzan greetings to all on the occasion and prayed for peace in the state and lauded the role of people of Jammu in upholding the ethics of age old tradition of communal harmony and brotherhood. He urged the youth to give their best for the development of the State.
He expressed hope that the spirit of Ramzan will instill in every human being a sense of unity and pride in the composite culture of state.         On the occasion, the Minister interacted with the guests and wished them well.


Martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (AS)
          SRINAGAR, JUNE 06: Minister for Higher Education, Technical Education, Information Technology, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari,Wednesday said that life of Hazrat Ali (AS) is a beacon light for entire humanity and his teachings precious endowments for the mankind.
Addressing a gathering at Zadibal Imam Bargah on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali (AS), the Minister said that the exalted Imam spent his entire life in the way of Islam and in spreading the message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He said that life of Hazrat Ali (AS) was an example for all Muslims and His bravery and way of life serves as an example not only for Muslims but entire humanity.
Towering personality of Hazrat Ali (AS) had an honour of being born in the house of Allah Kabba - and also achieving his martyrdom in the house of Allah Masjid Koofa.  He said Muslims would continue to remember him for his services to Islam and mankind until the Day of Judgment, he added.
 He said that there is no match of Hazrat Ali (AS) in his devotion, generosity, bravery, courage and character. His virtues are an example to mankind and no words are match in expressing them.
Laying emphasis on following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Imam Ali (AS) in letter and spirit, Ansari said without following their humane teachings and adopting their way of life, it would be hard for Muslims to come out of the matrix and convulsion that they are caught in. 
While paying tributes to Hazrat Ali (AS) for his services toward the entire humanity and mankind and for his selfless sacrifices, Ansari said until achieving martyrdom, he consistently worked for the honour of Islam and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and held the baton of Islam high by being a shining beacon of piousness and wrote his name in the Islamic history with the golden ink.
Later Ansari also threw light on importance and blessings of Ramadan. Special prayers were also held for peace and prosperity of the state. He also spoke in detail about the blessings of Ramadan and the Quran. 
Other scholars also spoke on the occasion, urging that Muslims to follow the directions of Allah which is the only way to be successful in this world and hereafter.
Later, congregational prayers in remembrance of Hazrat Ali (AS) were held and a rally from Zadibal Imambargah was taken out which later culminated at the shrine of Gulistan Baba Sharief, Alamgari Bazar here.

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 03:   Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari today said the sacrifices of Karbala Martyrs revived human values which paved way for Islamic awakening and social reformation.
The Minister was addressing a day-long congregation at Shahtul Pora Bandipora which was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association to remember the great sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) and his pious companions in Karbala.
Ansari said Karbala is a lesson for mankind which teaches dignity, honor and truth is paramount.
He said through his martyrdom Imam Hussain (AS) taught humanity that good prevails over evil. He said the sacrifices of Karbala Martyrs would continue to inspire humanity to prefer a life of dignity over ignominy.
The Minister added that the Imam Hussain (AS) led the revolution to uphold the rights and dignity of mankind and revitalized the ethical code which was waning.

Later, a procession was also carried out in which men, women and children participated to pay homage to the Karbala Martyrs. 
Minister visits ITI, Trauma Hospital

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07:  Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, today convened a meeting to review the pace of on-going developmental activities in the Pattan Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister directed the concerned to speed up the pace of developmental initiatives in Pattan Constituency and called for proper upgradation of existing infrastructure and   time-bound implementation of welfare programmes.
The Minister was apprised that the majority of  projects are nearing completion and almost 60-70 percent of targets have been completed so far.
The meeting took threadbare review of developmental scenario of the Pattan Constituency.
Later, the Minister paid visit to the Trauma Hospital Pattan to inspect the pace of the ongoing work. The concerned officials informed the Minister that project is nearing its completion. The Minister directed the concerned authorities to finish the remaining work as per given deadline.
During his visit to ITI centre Pattan, the Minister inspected the functioning of the centre and training being imparted to the students. The Minister directed that new courses to be introduced in the centre. He said government is keen to create linkages for jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities for the youth of State.

Director Technical Education, SDM Pattan, Tehsildar Pattan, Tehsildar Singhpora, CMO Baramulla, BMO Pattan and other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
Directs officers for expediting pace of work

          SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 06: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports Imran Raza Ansari today visited Pattan constituency to take stock of various developmental activities going on in various areas.
During the visit, the Minister visited areas including Kripalgad, Mattipora, Gund Khwaja Qasim, Arampora, Bonnie Chakal areas and reviewed the macadamization work going on in the area.
The Minister directed officers of R&B department to execute macadamization works for all main roads and important link roads in a phased manner and ensure their time bound completion.
Taking note of the water scarcity concerns projected by the people, the Minister assured that prompt action will be taken to resolve this issue. He said that multiple schemes have been taken up by the Government to augment water supply in the state including Parihaspora water supply scheme that will ensure water supply to even the remote, far off areas. In this regard, CM has already disbursed 13 crore rupees to speed up the work, which was stalling for over a decade. The Minister also reiterated that Government is committed to providing all basic amenities to the public.
The Minister also issued directions to concerned department to speed up the work in the Water Supply Schemes.
During the visit, the Minister also laid foundation stone of Quran Learning Centre in Sofi Mohalla Reshipora being constructed by the Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (JKSA).
While addressing the gathering, the Minister said that religion paves way for peace and communal harmony and urged the people to put up a united front against the unscrupulous elements that try to create divide and rift between various sects in the society. He hoped that this Learning Center will act as a platform to unite sects and bring about peace and tranquility among masses. The centre will also have a library which will be available to everybody, he added.
The Minister also interacted with several deputations and took note of their issues and demands. He patiently listened to the grievances of people and assured that their genuine demands would be taken up at the earliest.

District officers and concerned officers of Pattan constituency accompanied the Minister.

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 31: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports Molvi Imran Reza Ansari today directed officials to complete the gap analysis of proposed sports policy within a month.
The Minister said this while chairing a meeting to discuss the adoption of the proposed sports policy. Earlier he directed officials to hire specialist consultants to suggest measures for improving the sports apparatus in the state.
During the meeting, Minister directed officials to conduct a gap analysis of the sports policy within a month and prepare a comprehensive list next Assembly session.

Moreover, the Minister reiterated that government is committed to provide all possible sports facilities to young aspirants in general and sportsperson in particular.

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 30: Minister for Information technology, technical education, youth services and sports, Imran Raza Ansari today directed for strict timelines to be framed and adhered to for enrollment of left out population under Aadhaar.
The Minister said this while chairing a meeting to review the progress made under various Information Technology projects being undertaken in the state, here today.
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the coverage attained in the sate with regards to enrollment of general population under Aadhaar.
Taking note of the progress, the Minister directed for setting up of additional centers for ease to general public and assured that additional machinery will be dispatched on priority. He also directed the nodal agency to maintain special focus on enrollment of children especially those under the age of 15 years, so that they can avail benefits of various state and centrally sponsored schemes.
The Minister directed the nodal agencies to increase the pace of enrollment work adding that he will be undertaking periodic reviews on the progress made regarding the Aadhaar seeding process in the state.
Ansari further said that government is committed to facilitate people in Aadhaar enrollment besides helping them avail benefits from various state and centrally sponsored schemes.
He also directed all officials to be available to general public to resolve their problems during the Aadhaar seeding process.
          The meeting was informed that the department has disbursed money to the executing agencies for procurement of enrollment devices and training to manpower.
          It was further informed that for efficient delivery of welfare schemes with regards to School Education Department, Information Technology Department has proposed for a system to be developed to identify the beneficiaries using Aadhaar biometric authentication; the biometric devices will be deployed at the service application counters to prove identity and physical presence.
          The meeting was also informed that UIDAI is preparing Master Trainers from the department who will further train ground level functionaries to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the enrollment process.
Besides, the Minister also reviewed the various projects like State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG), e-Assembly, e-Prisons (Automation of Prison Department, e-district, and Automation of Jammu Development Authority (JDA).
The Minister directed the officials to accelerate the work process and asked them to float the Request for Proposal (RFP) in a time bound manner.

Commissioner Secretary Information Technology, Sanjeev Verma, CEO   Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA), Sadat Hussain and other concerned were present in the meeting. 
Urges for accelerating pace of work for time bound completion


SRINAGAR, AUG 24: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Imran Raza Ansari today convened a meeting to review progress on various on-going projects in Baramulla district and Pattan constituency
During the meeting the progress on all earmarked projects was discussed with the district officers and detailed feedback was taken from the officers working on ground level in direct liaison with the public.
The Minister took a sector and scheme-wise review of the works being undertaken in the district and directed concerned executing agencies to expedite the works on all projects.
The Minister was informed that almost 60-70 percent of targets have been completed so far on all ongoing works.
Regarding the ongoing health sector works, the Minister directed the concerned to expedite the construction work on all ongoing and new Sub district centre buildings in the district. He commended the works undertaken till date and asked officers to conduct frequent visits for its early completion, so that this essential public sector utility can be made available to the masses.
The Minister further stressed on conducting frequent field visits for ensuring smooth execution of ongoing works.
During the meeting, local representatives raised various issues and problems being faced by people in their areas.
The Minister gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised by them and assured early action with regards to all their genuine demands.
The Minister also reviewing the progress made with regards to Aadhaar enrolment directed the Nodal officers to ensure that the left out population of entire North Kashmir i.e., Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara and Handwara is enrolled at the earliest. He also directed for setting up of additional centers for ease to general public and assured that additional machinery will be dispatched on priority.
The meeting was informed about physical achievements of different departments in the district. Officers informed the meeting that around 50% of approved outlay of Rs 25453.66 lakh for the year 2017-2018 has been spent on approved schemes.

DC Baramulla Nasir Ahmad Naqash, SSP Imtiyaz Hussain, HODs, Deputy Heads,Senior officers and other concerned officers from the district were present on the occasion.

Directs officers to expedite works

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 23: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari today visited Mirgund, Mirchmer and Kakkerpora areas in the Pattan constituency to take stock of various developmental activities going on in the areas.
The Minister directed officers of R&B department that the macadamization of all the main roads and important link roads shall be completed in a time bound manner.
During the visit, the Minister asked the Health Department to ensure timely and quality treatment round the clock. He directed for ensuring sanitation in and around the premises of the hospital.
The Minister also issued directions to all other line departments to speed up their working.
During the visit, the Minister interacted with several deputations and received first hand appraisal of their issues and demands. He patiently listened to the grievances of people and assured that their genuine issues would be considered and redressed in a time bound manner.
Senior officers of R&B, Health and PDD were accompanying the Minister during his visit.
