Samba, Oct 08: J&K state women's development corporation organized an awareness camp at Village Patli Morh Panchayat Patli Morh Block Bari Brahmana District Samba, Constituency Vijaypur  on 06. 10. 2018 to aware the women folk about the schemes being implemented by them. The Chief Guest of the camp was S.A Nazi Officer of National Board for Workers Education & Development (Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India)
Speaking on the occasion (Kuldeep Singh Pathania District  Manager Women’s Dev. Corporation Kathua/Samba,highlighted various schemes being implemented by JKWDC viza viz NMDFC , NBCFDC, NHFDC WEP, and Education loan schemes launched by JKWDC for socio-economic upliftment of women. 
         S.A Nazi Officer of National Board for Workers Education & Development who requested the women to come forward and take the benefits of the loan schemes provided at nominal rate of interest. Also spoke about BETI PADAO BETI BACHAO and SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN.
Others who attended the camp were Gopal Sharma President Grameem Mahila Vikas Kendar, NGO Regd. Raj Kumar Sr. Member, Sunil Kumar Social Worker Staff JKWDC  & other prominent peoples. The women were made aware about state / centrally sponsored schemes launched and sponsored by the women’s Development Corporation for upliftment of women. At last refreshment was served to the gathering.

Speaking on the ocassion Dist.manager jammu Mrs.Rifat qamar  highlighted various schemes being implemented by JKWDC viza viz NMDFC , NBCFDC, NHFDC WEP, and Education loan schemes launched by JKWDC for socio-economic upliftment of women.

Banihal, Sept 17: J & K State Women’s Development Corporation organized an awareness camp at  Village Chachihal Panchayat Krawa, Constituency Banihal on 10
17/09/2018. The camp was attended by (Ravi Kumar District  Incharge  Women’s Dev. Corporation Banihal, Mohd Yousaf, Laqkat Ali , Abdul Rashid, Washim Shah Social Worker,  & other prominent peoples. The women were made aware about state / centrally sponsored schemes launched and sponsored by the women’s Development Corporation for
upliftment of women.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Kumar District Incharge  Banihal JKWDC Jammu , stressed upon the participants to take advantage of central sponsored schemes like NMDFC, NBCFDC, and NHFDC including Education loan and also one scheme implemented namely Empowered Skilled Young Women (ESW) under Sher-E- Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir State. They urged upon the women to take benefit of the schemes and establish their own income generating units by way of loans available at nominal interest rates to become self reliant.
Mohd Yousaf  of the area also spokes on the occassion about BETI PADAO BETI BACHA, SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN about
40/70 Women/ Men participated in the camp.
Our Managing Director is wants to every woman become a self reliant from the help of Govt. beneficial schemes like JKWDC’s loan schemes because JKWDC has to give the loan in nominal rate of interest and without any delay. On the spot disbursed Loan Application
forms among the interested women who want to self reliant. At the end of the camp refreshment was served to the participants.


Jammu, Mar 28: On handing over the loan sanction letters under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme of the National Backward Classes Finance Development Corporation (NBCFDC), New Delhi, to the unemployed members of the Backward Community, Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation, Vice Chairperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, stressed upon these beneficiaries to make best possible  use of the financial assistance availed by them so that others get employment in their small units and are in a position to earn livelihood.
Balbir Ram Rattan, who handed over these letters to Ravinder Kour and Parveen Kumar for rupees two lakh and one lakh respectively, in presence of Corporation District Manager Joginder Paul Atri and social activist Rekha Mahajan, said that the prime objective of the Corporation is to help the unemployed persons of the weaker sections to become self reliant by setting up own earning units as per their capability and desire.
“While the SC, ST, BC Development Corporation helps one beneficiary to be an earner, in many cases such people provide employment to others, which is indeed a matter of pride for  Corporation as it is indirectly proving to be an employer”, Balbir said and added that the people who avail the loan facility should help others in becoming self reliant.
The VC also appealed these beneficiaries to be regular in paying back the monthly instalment of the loan availed by them.

Jammu, October 7: Balbir Ram Rattan, Vice-Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes Development Corporation Limited, visited Khanyar area of Srinagar city and inspected an earthen pottery unit financed by the Corporation under National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC) and run by an unemployed graduate youth Mohd. Intiyaz Kumhar.
During inspection of the various sections of the unit by VC, alongwith Financial Advisor/CAO, Vijay Kumar Tak and District Manager, Srinagar District, Arif Haleem Khan, it was found that the young entrepreneur has utilize the loan money in a right direction as a result of which the unit is running very successfully as a result of which the beneficiary has repaid the maximum loan amount to the Corporation.
Balbir Ram Rattan, while expressing satisfaction over the running of this unit, said that although the beneficiary is well qualified but did not leave his ancestral occupation of earning livelihood through own skills.
The young boy has taken a right decision to avail the financial assistance from the Corporation and succeeded in running the unit in profit, which is an example for others to follow, Balbir said that added that the unemployed youth should not become burden on their parents but come forward to avail such loan facilities to be self dependent.

The Vice-Chairperson assured the loanee of providing more financial assistance for further expansion of the unit if he desires so.
