            GANDERBAL, APRIL 27:-  Member of Legislative Assembly  Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar conducted a public Darbar at Chantan-Gulabpora and Waliwar area of Lar Ganderbal here today.
 He was accompanied by ADDC Ganderbal, N.A Baba and District officers of all line departments. 
 The people apprised the MLA of various problems being faced by them. They projected their demands in respect of drinking water, adequate power supply, proper road connectivity, medicare facilities etc.
 In the majority of the cases, MLA Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar suggested on the spot solutions and also issued on the spot instructions for the redressal of the problems of the general public and sought reports from the concerning officers and directed them for early redressal of the issues.
 MLA Ganderbal, on the occasion also released rupees 15.70 lakhs out of his CDF for Chantan and Waliwar areas to improve HT/LT, transformers, Electrical Poles etc.
 Large number of locals including woman and youth also participated in the public darbar.



JAMMU, APRIL 13: To mitigate the problems and grievances confronting the people of Kalakote Constituency, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli today convened a Public Darbar at Harichumma Thana.
During the Durbar, people put forth their demands and grievances and sought early redressal of their grievances.  Minister gave patient hearing to the visiting delegations and assured them that their genuine demands will be looked into and also gave on-spot directions to the concerned officials for their early redressal.
Addressing the gathering, Minister said that the government is committed to equitable development of all the three regions of the State. He said that sufficient funds have been earmarked under different sectors for undertaking various developmental projects in Kalakote Constituency and that work on these projects has already been started.
He said the developmental projects taken up by the government have the potential to change the socio-economic conditions of the people besides providing employment opportunities to the educated unemployed youth of the state.
Senior officers of district administration Rajouri were present on the occasion.



JAMMU APRIL 11 : In order to address the issues of public and karyakarta in a face to face interaction, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control and MLA Suchetgarh, Sham Choudhary accompanied by various departmental officials conducted public and Karyakarta Darbar at BJP Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
While sharing his views on Public Darbar, Sham Choudhary said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has led the Nation into the era of development and growth. He emphasized that the prime motto of the present dispensation is to address the all public issues on priority basis.
BJP follows the principle of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas’, he said adding that BJP is committed to reach up to the last man living in the most neglected sections of the society. He said that BJP is going ahead with a schedule of public and karyakarta darbar, so that a platform could be provided in which the activist working on the ground level can directly approach a Minister or MP regarding the public or personal concern. Minister also threw light on various landmark achievements of alliance government in the state during his interaction in the darbar.
More than 50 deputations met the PHE Minister for the redressal of their personal as well as public problems. Various important issues were highlighted by the visiting deputations. Deputations raised various issues like provision of drinking water facilities at public places, PHE pipes, repair and installation of new hand pumps, regularization of water supply. Various other issues were also addressed by the Minister like revenue related issues, flood management and various development related issues in their respective areas. Minister addressed many of the problems by telephonically talking to the authorities and issued written instructions for others.
The whole programme was coordinated by BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru, State Additional Office Secretary Suresh Sharma. State Press Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and other BJP leaders were also present on the occasion.

Transparency, accountability benchmarks of present Govt

KUPWARA, MARCH 15: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice Abdul Haq Khan on Thursday said the primary aim of the government is the all-round development of every section of the society and that every step will be taken to achieve the goal.
Minister said this while interacting with the people at Wavoora village in Kupwara district during a public interaction program.
He said the   government lead by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is committed to uplift the down trodden people of the society and ensure equitable development in all the three regions of the state. He said sustained efforts are afoot to accelerate the pace of development in the State to provide people all modern facilities especially living in far flung areas to make their lives more comfortable.
Abdul Haq said that transparency and accountability are the benchmarks of the present coalition government and there is no space for corrupt practices and persons in the present government. He said various innovative measures taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti have brought a visible change in governance in the state and everyone has been made accountable in the system.
Appealing people to become active stakeholders in effective implementation of developmental programmes at the grassroots level, the Minister appealed the people to become eyes and ears of the government by keeping track of the developmental activities taking place in their respective areas to ensure quality in works besides transparency.
During the interaction, various delegations apprised minister about issues confronting them in different sectors including PHE, electricity, Health, and renovation of roads, up-gradation of lanes and drains. . The minister gave patient hearing to them and assured that steps will be taken to mitigate their problems.
He said State Government is committed to the welfare of public to mitigate the problems faced by public. He said that the aim of conducting this programme is to address public grievances at grass root level instead of forcing people to visit the corridors of power in Srinagar or Jammu.



KULGAM, SEPTEMBER 21: Deputy Development Commissioner Kulgam, Talat Parvez Rohella held a Public Durbar with general public and business community to address their problems today at Yaripora.
Various issues were highlighted by people including drinking water, strengthening operation theater at sub-district hospital, biometric machine for Aadhaar registration in Tehsil office, renovation of the gutted building of Tehsil office, constructing lavatory blocks in the town, fencing of girls higher secondary school, irregularities in BPL ration cards in town areas, repairing of Yaripora to Munadgufan PMGSY road in main market Yaripora, capacity of the overloaded receiving station of Yaripora to be increased, constituency wise funding to be made, construction of bund for Eidgah, curbing of drug abuse, establishing degree college and constructing community hall.
While addressing the durbar, Deputy Commissioner said that the purpose of holdings such Public Darbars is to develop a close link between people and the administration and get the problems of the public redressed.
He directed the concerned officers to redress the grievances raised by the delegations on priority. 
DC added that Public Darbars will be a routine matter to address the problems of the public at their doorsteps.

Among others present in the Darbar include Exns of PHE, Irrigation, PMGSY and PDD, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, AD fisheries, ACD, CMO, DSWO, AD Fisheries, SDPO Yaripora, Tehsildar Yaripora and other district officers.

          KULGAM, JUNE 21: The Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, Talat Parvez Rohella today held a public darbar with senior citizens and trade Federations of the District.
          The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, District Programme Officer, Exns of PHE and PDD, Chief Horticulture Officer, DSWO, AD FCS&CA, Tehsildars and other district officers besides Lumberdars and Chowkidars.
          The prominent citizens and traders highlighted various issues faced by the people regarding sanitation and cleanliness, checking of food adulteration and over pricing, health, garbage disposal, power infrastructure upgradation, checking of spurious pesticides, traffic management and lavatory facilities in the Kulgam town and taking effective measures for curbing drug abuse.
          The Deputy Commissioner said that the purpose of holdings such public darbar is to develop a close link between people and the administration.
          The DC directed the concerned officers to redress the grievances raised by the delegations on priority.   
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner shared numbers (9622787865/01931260156) with the public and said that people having any complaints regarding corruption can reach out on these numbers.
          The Chief Horticulture Officer was directed to give wide publicity of the advisories issued to the general public regarding different crops and fruits.  Besides, he was directed to mobilize the squads for checking spurious pesticides in the market.
          The Exn PHE informed that Redwani WSS will be commissioned soon which will solve the water issue in Home Shali Bugh area to the large extent.

          The DC said that he has directed the ADC and ACR to hold the public darbar in different areas so that the issues of the general public are addressed in a time-bound area.

          BARAMULLA, JUNE 14:  A public grievance redressal camp was today held under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Baramulla at Dak Bungalow Sopore.

          Additional Deputy Commissioner, SSP, JDP, Executive Engineers of PHE, Power Development Department and R&B, Trades Federation representatives, Mohala Presidents besides a large number people attended the camp.

      Issues related to health services, electricity, water supply, traffic management and road repairs, besides issue of food supply and home delivery of LPG supply was highlighted by the civil society members during the darbar.

          Moreover, the people apprised the issue of drug addiction and stressed upon curbing it at an earliest. The DDC assured that every step will be taken by the administration to eradicate this menace.

          The DDC listened to the problems projected at the camp and assured early redressal of genuine demands. He stressed the officers to provide basic facilities to the people of Sopore area. He said that District administration is committed to provide every facility to the people of the district.

          The DDC said that the Government has launched various schemes and programmes for the welfare of people and they should come forward and avail the benefits of the development programme and schemes.

          ANANTNAG, JUNE 12: A public durbar chaired by District Development Commissioner Anantnag and organized by the district administration in collaboration with sub divisional administration, Bijbehara was today held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bijbehara.  

          SDM Bijbehara, SDPO, DFO, Exen PDD, R&B, PHE, Tehsildar Bijbehara, and other concerned officers from Health, ICD, Rural Development, CAPD, were present in the darbar.

          The President Bar Association, President Traders Association, President Transport owners Association, Bijbehara besides a large number of people from adjacent villages of Dirhama, Wapzan, Sirhama, Kanalwan and other villages participated in the public darbar.

          On the occasion, issues regarding construction of public convenience points at new and old Bus Addas, Zirpara road, regulation of traffic in Bijbehara town, public parking place at Old Adda Bijbehara and publication of urban development plan 2017 to aware the common people were raised.

          Issues regarding supply of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, covering of drains on main road, ration supply and execution of rural development works, besides provision of substitute of polythene and orders for implementing government schemes and programmes in Bijbehara town were also putforth by the public deputations.  

          The DDC said that aim and objective of holding of Darbar is to address the grievances of the people on spot with the concerned officers.  He assured them for redressal of their grievances and directed the concerned officers to look into the problems and demands raised by the people in the Darbar.

          He directed Executive officer, MC, Bijbehara for conducting regular market checking to keep a check on profiteering and sale of over dated commodities.


          KULGAM, JUNE 09: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the public at grass route level, District Development Commissioner Kulgam today held a Public Durbar at Town Hall Devsar.
          The Darbar was participated by a large gathering of people including the villages of Akhall, Dardgund, Lammer, Brinal, Manigam, Shahoo Sachin, Lankerpombay, Hablishi, Nowpora, Chowgam, Sopat, Kilam and Kund Valley.
          The people put forth different demands before the DDC which includes augmentation of Receiving Station Devsar, completion of work on PHC Devsar, HS Akhall, improvement in the drinking water supply and power distribution in the upper belts of Devsar Tehsil besides banning of illegal brick kilns which are coming up in the adjoining areas of agricultural land of Devsar area.
          The DDC also directed the Tehsildar Devsar to submit a factual report regarding the reports of unauthorized brick kilns within a weeks time.
          Speaking on the occasion, the DDC also stressed upon officers present to be proactive and responsive towards public grievances. The District Administration will leave no stone unturned to improve its public delivery system so as to meet the expectations of people, he told gathering.

The darbar was attended by Tehsildar Devsar, BMO Qazigund, Xens of PDD, PHE, R&B Qazigund, Executive Officer MC, BDO, CDPO, ZEO, TSO, Devsar, besides the representatives of different trade unions & Auquf committees of said Tehsil.
