   SRINAGAR, JUNE 24:  Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura yesterday hosted Iftaar at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall, Budgam.
A large number of guests from different walks of life attended the Iftaar.
Legislator Saif-ud-Din Bhat, JK Cements Vice-Chairman Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo, Vice Chairman SICOP, Dr Ali Mohammad Mir, Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Mohammad Harun Malik, SSP Budgam, Tejinder Singh, senior political leader, Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din, prominent Islamic scholar Moulvi Latief Ahmad, journalist Ahmad Ali Fayaz, prominent citizens, members of civil society besides, around 250 orphans of various orphanages of Budgam district attended the Iftaar.
The Minister interacted with the participants and exchanged well wishes.  

Special arrangements were made for Magrib prayers. The participants prayed for peace and prosperity of the State.

Jammu  23 June: On the occasion of Sab-e-Qadar and Eid, an iftaar party was organized by the residents of Gujjar Nagar, in which a large number of people from various communities participated.
The party was held under the Chairmanship of President, Ward no 6, Gujjar Nagar, Mohd Hussain Malik and Rafiq Malik. The party was organized in the premises of Girls Higher Secondary School and attended by a number of leaders of various political parties and other social organistaions.
The Inspector General of Police, Jammu, SDS Jamwal was the chief guest on the occasion, while SSP Jammu was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Jammu, SDS Jamwal gives his best compliments to the residents and the organizers of the Iftaar party and said that this is very good that the people from various communities are participated in this iftaar party. He further urged upon the people to organize such functions as this is very necessary for a healthy and peaceful society.
Among others who participated in the function included members of Rajinder Bazar traders federation, Krishan Lal Gupta, Arjun Gupta, PDP senior leaders, Mohd Akrma, Shafaqat Khokhar,Dr Rehman Din Malik. The participants lauded the efforts of Muslim federation for maintaining peace in the Jammu region. The programme was      conducted by Anwar Chowdhary.


SRINAGAR, JUNE 21:
Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, hosted an Iftar here this evening at SKICC.Around 1500 guests representing different walks of life attended the Iftar.
Governor, N. N. Vohra; Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh;several Ministers; MLAs and MLCs; former legislators; Chief Secretary, B. B. Vyas; DGP, Dr. S. P. Vaid; senior officers of State and Central Government; Vice-Chancellors, besides members of the media fraternity and prominent citizens and members of civil society attended the Iftar.

On the occasion, Mehbooba Mufti interacted with the guests and wished them well.
Special arrangements were made for the invitees, males and females, to offer Maghrib prayers.

SRINAGAR, JUNE 20: People from different walks of life joined the Iftaar hosted by Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, here last evening. 
Ministers, Legislators, officers of civil and Police administration, besides members of the media fraternity and prominent citizens and members of civil society attended the Iftaar.
On the occasion, Dr Nirmal Singh interacted with the guests and wished them well.  
Special arrangements were made for the invitees, males and females, separately, to offer Maghrib prayers.

A Sufiyana music programme was also organized on the occasion.

RAJOURI, JUNE 16: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Information, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, hosted Iftaar for orphans here last evening.
MLC Vibod Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Director FCS&CA Jammu, Choudhary R A Inqalabi, SSP, Yugal Manhas, Mirza Abdul Rashid Ex-MP, Molvi Ghulam Rasool, Khateeb Jamia Masjid Rajouri, Mohammad Shafi Dar and Rajesh Gupta Beopar Mendal President Rajouri, Kamal Singh, Bharat Vaid, Sayeed Manzoor Shah, Abdul Rashid Bhat, Shafiqat Mir, Iqbal shwal, Dr abdul Rashid, Retd  Xen Abdul Latief, Yogesh Sharma besides prominent citizens, media persons and officers of district administration also attended the Iftaar.
I feel privileged to be part of this special occasion and it is a blessing of Almighty Allah to share Iftaar with these beautiful children who have been deprived of love and care of their parents, the Minister said while interacting with the orphans of Bal-Ashram and Nari-Niketan of Rajouri district.
Reaffirming governments commitment of ensure a safe and secure environment for these children, the Minister said that a number of innovative steps are being taken to extend equal opportunities of progress and prosperity to this section of youth. He exhorted upon the people to work collectively for welfare and development of orphans describing it as everyones moral duty.
Zulfkar Ali said such children need to be provided the emotional stability to help them overcome their challenges, focus on their studies, enhance their skills and build a sense of belonging.

Special arrangements were made on the occasion for the invitees to offer Maghrib prayers. The participants prayed for peace and prosperity of the state.
       
  
 SRINAGAR, June 03: Minister for Information and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) today hosted the Iftaar for the journalist fraternity in the lawns of the Media Complex at Polo View here.
          A host of dignitaries including senior journalists, editors, publishers, videographers, photographers and working journalists of the local and national media joined the Iftaar.
          Special arrangements were also made for the invitees to offer Magrib prayers which were led by Basharat Ahmad Baba, an employee of the DIPR. 
Secretary Information, Mr M H Malik, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Dr Shafqat Khan and other senior officers of various departments also joined the Iftaar.
